I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alexandria, Virginia. I was born and raised right here in Alexandria, living just 2 miles from my childhood home where my father still resides. My husband and I have 5 children and two rescue mutts, Tala and Story. After working for almost 15 years in neonatal and pediatric critical care as a respiratory therapist, I needed a change. I graduated from The George Washington University in 2019 with a degree in Education and Human Development with a concentration in School Counseling. I also graduated that year with a degree in Educational Psychology from The University of Virginia. It is my life passion to connect with children in periods of struggle. My main focuses are anxiety and depression, overwhelming life periods, chronic health conditions and/or extensive hospitalizations, gender and sexual identity, and I am a huge proponent of group therapy and all the benefits of a community.
I founded Wonderologie LLC in May of 2021 to bring together all my life passions into one place. I hire passionate therapists who want to help others. Wonderologie strives to bring health and wellness to Del Ray, Alexandria. To learn more about the Wellness District in Del Ray, visit www.visitdelray.com
I am a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor for the state of Virginia. If you are looking for supervision of your residency, please reach out to me! I am so happy to help others succeed in their goals.
In addition to counseling and enneagram work, I consult for various organizations in Northern Virginia and internationally. I provide curriculum consultation for developmental appropriateness and working alongside executive directors and coaches to deliver age-appropriate strategies and techniques. I have worked closely with FMF & AID Global Association and run an international children’s group for kids with FMF and other Auto-Inflammatory Diseases.
